78. An-Naba · The Announcement
Makkan40 verses
وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كِذَّابًۭا
وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ كِتَٰبًۭا
فَذُوقُوا۟ فَلَن نَّزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا
78:30So [now] taste! We shall increase you in nothing but punishment!
إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا
حَدَآئِقَ وَأَعْنَٰبًۭا
78:32gardens and vineyards,
وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًۭا
وَكَأْسًۭا دِهَاقًۭا
78:34and brimming cups.
لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًۭا وَلَا كِذَّٰبًۭا
78:35Therein they shall hear neither vain talk nor lies
جَزَآءًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابًۭا
رَّبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۖ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًۭا
78:37the All-beneficent, the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. They will not be able to address Him
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلرُّوحُ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ صَفًّۭا ۖ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًۭا
78:38on the day when the Spirit and the angels stand in an array: none shall speak except someone who is permitted by the All-beneficent and says what is rightful.
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ مَـَٔابًا
78:39That day is true for certain. So let anyone who wishes take resort with his Lord.7
إِنَّآ أَنذَرْنَٰكُمْ عَذَابًۭا قَرِيبًۭا يَوْمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلْكَافِرُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى كُنتُ تُرَٰبًۢا
78:40Indeed We have warned you of a punishment near at hand—the day when a person will observe what his hands have sent ahead and the faithless one will say, ‘I wish I were dust!’
Tafsir
Commentary on this passage
Verse 38
1.The Day of Judgement will be a very difficult and harsh time. When proximate Angels and Jibreel the trustworthy also will not dare to say anything. Inspite of this the Beneficent Lord can give permission to some of His servants to mention their desire and recommend on behalf of other servants of Allah. Their greatest sign is that they say everything correctly they are none but Masoomeen (a.s.). This shows that other servants of Allah may or may not have the permission to recommend. but Masoomeen (a.s.) will in any case have the permission because they say whatever is according to Allah’s wish.

Ahsaa - It is derived from hasaa, as in the Arabs people used to count with the help of stones and pebbles just as today people count on the fingers.
Benefit
From the Quranic point of view wakefulness and sleep, day and night, are all favours of the Almighty. The sun in spite of being so hot is the greatest favour that the light coming from it if it is calculated in terms of the electrical charges of fuel. It comes to be 1700 million dollars for an hour. While its degree of temperature is 20 million degrees and its distance is 150 million kilometers. Benefit: Note the consequences of the hereafter. On one hand is a place of resort for the inordinate and on the other are the Gardens and vineyards. On one hand is the boiling and intensely cold water and on the other hand is the ‘pure cup’. On one hand is the corresponding requital and on the other hand is a reward from your Lord.’

Mafaaz - Salvation from punishment; that is a success and victory.

Kawayeb - Is the plural of Kaaeb - The young girl who has just started maturing.
