Commentary on this passage
Verse 78
1.In the beginning of Surah, Zul-Jalaale Wal-Ikram is used as the adjective of Wajhe-Rab (Allah’s face) and here it is not the adjective of noun, but it is the attribute of the Lord Himself. Which is the sign of that the meaning of Wajhe-Rab is the self of Allah. And “Ism-e-Rab” is the interpretation of the name of that ‘self’ only. Which itself is possessing auspiciousness. Be it known that in the blessed Surah one ayat is repeated thirty-one times, but that cannot called repetition, because in every ayat, a special blessing has been mentioned and in every ayat by divine blessings it is meant the thing mentioned before that, therefore this is not the repetition of one meaning, but it is a method of expression, which is used on many occasion, in different meaning. And this is symbol of excellence of eloquence.
