Commentary on this passage
Verse 19
1.Suyuti has narrated in Durre Manthur that by “Bahre-in” is meant to be Ali and Fatima (a.s.) and “Barzakh” means the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and “Lo-a-lo-wal-marjan” are Hasan and Husain (a.s.). This is the interpretation of Quran. And it is obvious that this is a comparison and not the exegesis of the Holy Quran that on it allegation can be put that it is a (hidden) intrinsic exegesis of the Quran. Or it can be alleged that this way a new door has been opened for the exegesis of the Quran. As some theologians of Islam have chosen this course of action.
Verse 33
2.To what extent kind that Lord is, Who has announced His permanence through His majesty. But along with that to encourage His slaves He has announced Himself to be One endowed with esteem. So that man does not get disappointed with divine compassion, nor he is satisfied from the punishment of Allah. And he passes a life of middle way, in which on one hand hope is there and on the other fear. Hope will create spirit of goodness and fear will stand in the way of evil. Apparently it is a fact that without the means of force, it is not possible to go out of the boundaries of the skies. And with the means it is possible. And pertaining to meaning (spiritual) to save from the grip of Allah is not possible without repentance and asking forgiveness from Allah. By means of repentance and asking forgiveness from Allah man can also come out of the grip and punishment of Allah. He Himself has taught this method and has promised to accept the repentance so that man can come out of the My punishment. That the repentance is the most beloved act in My court and I like those who repent. And it is an open secret that whom I make My beloved, I cannot, punish him. The place of the beloved is Jannantun-Naeem (Paradise) and not Azaabe-Jahannam (Hell).
