Makkan62 verses
53:3Nor does he speak out of [his own] desire:
53:4it is just a revelation that is revealed [to him],
53:10whereat He revealed to His servant whatever He revealed.
53:11The heart did not deny what it saw.
53:13Certainly he saw it yet another time,
53:15near which is the Garden of the Abode,
53:16when there covered the Lote Tree what covered it.
53:17His gaze did not swerve, nor did it overstep the bounds.11
53:18Certainly he saw some of the greatest signs of his Lord.
53:20and Manat, the third one?
53:21Are you to have males and He females?
53:23These are but names, which you have coined—you and your fathers—for which Allah has not sent down any authority. They follow nothing but conjectures and the desires of the [lower] soul, while there has already come to them the guidance from their Lord.
53:25Yet to Allah belong this world and the Hereafter.

Commentary on this passage
Verse 2
1.The whole purpose of these Verses is that a complete guarantee of discourse of the Prophet of Islam (s.a.w.s.) be presented, that there is no interference of desires in that whatsoever and that it is entirely revelation, either it may be in the form of Quran-e-Hakim or in the form of Hadith and Sunnah. And mention of this fact is in the 5th and 10th Ayat also. The source of all the consciences is the Lord Himself, which the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) witnessed just as Amirul Momineen (a.s.) was worshipping Him the way as if he was observing witnessing Him. And he used to say that He can be seen with the facts of belief, not with the apparent visible witnessing.
Verse 5
2.This points towards the details of Meraj (the Holy Prophet’s Ascension). And the characteristics of Jibreel (a.s.) are narrated that he appeared in front of the Prophet (s.a.) in his actual form and he delivered the message of Allah and the Prophet (s.a.) in fact saw him. And in that no deception of eyes was included.
Verse 19
3.The infidels had made these three idols as the daughters of Allah and on that basis only they were worshipping them. And that is why regarding them feminine gender is used in the Ayat, and is shown that how much injustice it is that they have proposed for themselves boys and for Allah they have fixed girls whereas Allah has no connection with them and all these are stones carved by them only. It appears from this kind of thinking of the infidels that it is a matter of honour for them to have male children and girls were degrading and a weakness. This way of thinking is that of ungrateful and ignorant persons on the lines of the ancient times. And till today the Islamic world also is involved in that same mistaken thinking and deluding view. May Allah give freedom to all from this ignorant way of thinking.
