Makkan49 verses
52:3on an unrolled parchment;
52:4by the House greatly frequented;
52:5by the vault raised high,
52:6by the surging sea:
52:7indeed your Lord’s punishment will surely befall.
52:8There is none who can avert it.
52:9On the day when the sky whirls violently,
52:10and the mountains move with an awful motion:
52:11woe to the deniers on that day
52:12—those who play around in vain talk,
52:13the day when they will be shoved forcibly toward the fire of hell, [and told:]
52:14‘This is the Fire which you used to deny!

Commentary on this passage
Verse 1
3.To make it known, the possibilities of occurrence of the punishment, some type of creations and their controls - choices options, Allah has made their oath as the means. Toor - Kitab-e-Mashtoor Baite Ma’moor (which is on the sky and it is also the Qiblah of the residents of that place), highest of the sky, the roaring ocean etc. So that it becomes evident to man that the One Who can create all such things He in a moment can destroy all these things also. And that is what Qiyamat is called (It is known as Qiyamat). This is the misfortune of man that even after observing such clear evident absolute power he is arguing about the possibilities of the Day of Qiyamat. And he does not prepare himself for such a terrible occurrence.
