Commentary on this passage
Verse 64
1.If one sees with a discerning eye there will be no need to argue about Allah and faith or knowing for organs of necessity are not kept inside the body of a newborn and what is the thing that is kept in improper place in the body? You decrease or remove organ of the body and you will see how a handsome man looks and after changing the form he would be useless. This is the condition of his outwardly appearance. After that look at his meaningfulness, he loses his senses. Firmness in small brain, feelings in small heart, and ability in short existence! May God preserve it from the evil eye. Then divide human being into two kinds, to complete the scarcity of one’s suitability gave ability to other and dependant of each other. This is the wonder of Allah. That is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

Benefit
Hour is a period of time but the Holy Quran bas used it for Qiyamat and its preface, so that people may realize its briefness and its immediacy.

Some commentators say that the word ‘Adoo’ is used in the meaning of Ibadat (worship). Just as on most of the occasions in the Quran this word is used for worship alone. Here in the next sentence the word ‘worship’ is clearly mentioned. And in this way the meaning of Astajiblakum will denote recompense and reward. That when a worship act is accepted it means that man gets reward and recompense. But here it could be said to imply the opposite that supplication and acceptance is used in their real sense and the next sentence implies that dua is itself a worship act. For this a sincere intention is necessary. And to be arrogant of it leads man to Hell and perdition. That one who does not supplicate relies on himself and most often ignores the Lord of the worlds while it is the pillar of Islam that you continue to act and also pray for success and acceptance. The two are complimentary to each other. None of them is the alternative of each other.

In traditions ‘dua’ is considered superior to recitation of Quran and recommended prayers. That dua is the proof of recognition and confession of helplessness and its aim is absolute reliance and trust in Allah.
