وَمَا لِىَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
36:22Why should I not worship Him who has originated me, and to whom you shall be brought back?
ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ بِضُرٍّۢ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
36:23Shall I take gods besides Him? If the All-beneficent desired to cause me any distress, their intercession will not avail me in any way, nor will they rescue me.
إِنِّىٓ إِذًۭا لَّفِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍ
36:24Indeed, then I would be in manifest error.
إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ
36:25Indeed I have faith in your Lord, so listen to me.’
قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ ۖ قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ
36:26He was told, ‘Enter paradise!’ He said, ‘Alas! Had my people only known*
بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
36:27for what my Lord forgave me and made me one of the honoured ones!’
۞ وَمَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِن جُندٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
36:28After him We did not send down on his people a host from the sky, nor We would have sent down.1
إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَ
36:29It was but a single Cry, and, behold, they were stilled [like burnt ashes]!
يَٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
36:30How regrettable of the servants! There did not come to them any apostle but that they used to deride him.
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:31Have they not regarded how many generations We have destroyed before them who will not come back to them?2
وَإِن كُلٌّۭ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌۭ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّۭا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
36:33A sign for them is the dead earth, which We revive and bring forth grain out of it, so they eat of it.*
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ
36:34We make in it orchards of date palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth in it,*
لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:35so that they may eat of its fruit and what their hands have cultivated. Will they not then give thanks?
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
36:36Immaculate is He who has created all the kinds of what the earth grows, and of themselves, and of what they do not know.*
وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
36:37A sign for them is the night, which We strip of daylight, and, behold, they find themselves in the dark!*

Benefit
The 26th ayat indicates that the unjust people killed the believer. However instead of the word ‘killed’ the Quran has mentioned “made to enter Paradise”. So that the value of sacrifice in the way of Allah is understood. That this sacrifice is the taste of Paradise in this life.

The heavenly army denotes the angels who are not needed because the infidels are hardly worth anything. They could not bear a loud voice so what was the need to sent the angels?

This is a graphic description of the mayhem. Otherwise the coming back to life is a belief of infidels where there is no life after death. This is not an Islamic belief, and probably that is why it is said that everyone shall be present in Qiyamat.

This lamma is used in place of Alaa as exception but there is no fixed rule for it. It can be used wherever the Arabs use it.
Benefit
‘Minho’ in the 33rd ayat indicates that some of the grains are useful in ways other than in eating.

In the 34th ayat the difference of palm and grape is that palm is the name of the tree and grape is the name of a fruit. This shows that the whole tree is used to create a date and in grapes only the fruit is used. Also the mention of ‘spring’ shows that earth is enlivened by rain but spring are required for cultivation of trees and fruits.

The common philosophy of marriage is announced in the 36th ayat. Pairs are found in all the things in the world, whether plants or animals, and even the things unknown to Man. As seen in the composition of an atom. Then blessed be Allah, the best of the creators.
Benefit
It seems from the 37th ayat that the whole night the sun is covered with a white sheet. Then it is removed at night and darkness spreads everywhere.
