Verses 1–5

1.There are different views among commentators that why was Firon against the children of Israel and why did he oppress these people? Some people think that faith and belief of people of Israel was the main reason. They were extremely of high status and faithful people though the account of Bani Israel shows that majority of their people were not faithful. On the contrary, they were accustomed to harass the prophets of Allah and demand for strange things from them. Due to this belief their thought is closely connected to those who have given the reference of astrologers that Firon got information that a child will be born in this community and will destroy his kingdom and his kingship and due to this information he wanted to destroy the whole community from the very beginning. In the fol1owing this idea is not entirely improbable that Firon had feared that if he did not make this community weak, there is always danger from them that they can revolt any time. Such as to be found in every revolution of the world that a community, which suffered injustice, the same community crushed the stone of mil1 and in this way the powerful dominions come to an end.
