Verses 67–79

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًۭا وَءَابَآؤُنَآ أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ﴿٦٧﴾

27:67The faithless say, ‘What! When we and our fathers have become dust shall we be raised [from the dead]?

لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَٰذَا نَحْنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ﴿٦٨﴾

27:68We and our fathers were promised this before. [But] these are just myths of the ancients.’

قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ﴿٦٩﴾

27:69Say, ‘Travel over the land and observe how was the fate of the guilty.’

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُن فِى ضَيْقٍۢ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ﴿٧٠﴾

27:70Do not grieve for them, and do not be upset by their guile.

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ﴿٧١﴾

27:71They say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?’

قُلْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ﴿٧٢﴾

27:72Say, ‘Perhaps there is right behind you some of what you seek to hasten.’¹

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ﴿٧٣﴾

27:73Indeed your Lord is gracious to mankind, but most of them do not give thanks.

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمْ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ﴿٧٤﴾

27:74Your Lord knows whatever their breasts conceal, and whatever they disclose.

وَمَا مِنْ غَآئِبَةٍۢ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍ﴿٧٥﴾

27:75There is no invisible thing in the heaven and the earth but it is in a manifest Book.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ يَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَكْثَرَ ٱلَّذِى هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ﴿٧٦﴾

27:76This Quran recounts for the Children of Israel most of what they differ about,

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴿٧٧﴾

27:77and it is indeed a guidance and mercy for the faithful.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقْضِى بَيْنَهُم بِحُكْمِهِۦ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ﴿٧٨﴾

27:78Your Lord will decide between them by His judgement, and He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing.

فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَى ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُبِينِ﴿٧٩﴾

27:79So put your trust in Allah, for you indeed stand on the manifest truth.
