22:56On that day all sovereignty will belong to Allah: He will judge between them; then those who have faith and do righteous deeds will be in gardens of bliss,
22:57and those who are faithless and deny Our signs—for such there will be a humiliating punishment.
22:58Those who migrate in the way of Allah and then are slain, or die, Allah will surely provide them with a good provision. Allah is indeed the best of providers.
22:59He will admit them into an abode they are pleased with. Indeed Allah is all-knowing, all-forbearing.1
22:60So will it be; and whoever retaliates with the like of what he has been made to suffer, and is aggressed against [again] thereafter, Allah will surely help him. Indeed Allah is all-excusing, all-forgiving.*2
22:61So will it be, because Allah makes the night pass into the day and makes the day pass into the night, and because Allah is all-hearing, all-seeing.3
22:62So will it be, because Allah is the Reality, and what they invoke besides Him is nullity, and because Allah is the All-exalted, the All-great.
22:63Have you not regarded that Allah sends down water from the sky, whereupon the earth turns green? Indeed Allah is all-attentive, all-aware.
22:64To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, Indeed Allah is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable.

Commentary on this passage
Verse 63
1.Allah gave surety first to His obedient people: Keep patience and do not engage the enemy but if the enemy oppresses you then We are ready to help you and you should not be distressed regarding it. Why should you suffer injustice when Allah is the Helper. Allah says: We are competent to make the Sun rise and cause the day to be lighted but We do it when night has passed completely, otherwise who is the one who will show the regard without it and nobody will estimate Allah’s gratitude. The same condition is of the earth that We send down water from the clouds to the earth and make it green and fertile but this work is also done after the earth tolerates the dryness without water and Allah also Himself tolerates the wicked people and infidels then why can you not tolerate? It is your duty to create the power of tolerance in yourself and We shall help you and the result will be in your hands.

Apart from this there is nothing special in the interpretation of the commentators and neither is it necessary for every ayat to be revealed to connect to the preceding one. It is possible that the occasion of revelation of both of them is different and later they were put together according to divine command.
