Commentary on this passage
Verse 64
1.According to traditions, there was an interval in revelation. Subsequently, the Prophet of Islam (s.a.w.s.) inquired of Jibreel (a.s.), the reason of delay. Jibreel (a.s.) replied: All this is under God’s authority. The Prescnt, Past and future all are under His control and I am powerless upon it.
Verse 68
2.When man is influenced by the deviation of Shaitan he becomes forgetful of the Day of Accounting and denies resurrection. The Holy Quran has directed our attention repeatedly towards this point that refusal of the Hereafter is contrary to logic and intellect. It is nothing other than satanic whispering. These individuals will be gathered along with their satans and the sinner will enter hell due to the heinousness of his crime and will be stationed in the most terrible location of hell and then the others will follow, thrown headlong into hell one by one.
Verse 73
3.This logic has been prevalent in the deviated ones of all eras that they have settled the truth according to the measure of wealth, property and worldly position and this argument had made Shaddaad and Nimrod as their Gods. The same reasoning inclined the polytheists of Mecca to poke fun at the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.). This very factor makes Muslims pay obeisance to the superpowers. Otherwise Islam does not place any importance to this logic, which is nothing except material worship and has no correlation with Theism.

Sami- having the same name, that is similar or comparable.
- 2
Zikr- Remembrance.
Benefit: Regarding the 67th ayat some people have laid doubt on it that if a person does something once it does not mean that he can do it again. However, its obvious reply is that some involuntary affairs have a role to play in the deeds of man. That is why it is difficult for him to repeat the action. However the action of the Lord of the worlds is totally voluntary and hence there is no difficulty for him.

This wurood denotes presence and seeing face to face. As everyone has to pass over the Sirat all of us shall get to see Hell.
Benefit: It is mentioned in some traditions that wurood in the 71st ayat denotes entry. The one difference is that for the believer the fire will become cold and for the disbeliever it will flare up. The philosophy explained behind this is that after passing through Hell the pleasure of Paradise would be more enjoyable.
