Verses 3–6

وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ﴿٣﴾

109:3nor do you worship what I worship;

وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌۭ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ﴿٤﴾

109:4nor will I worship what you have worshipped,

وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ﴿٥﴾

109:5nor will you worship what I worship.

لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ﴿٦﴾

109:6To you your religion, and to me my religion.’
