At-Takaathur

Makkan8 verses
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
102:3No indeed, soon you will know!
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ
102:4No indeed, soon you will know for yet another time!
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
102:5Indeed, were you to know with certain knowledge,
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ
102:6you would have surely seen hell [in this very life].
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
102:7Afterward you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.14
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
102:8Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned concerning the Blessing.

Commentary on this passage
Verse 8
2.Man spent his whole life in collecting wealth and children and it missed him completely that these things are not going to remain forever. And in any case the accounting of these will be done on the day of Qiyamat. Such person will surely be asked about those bounties, that from where he collected them and where he spent. Otherwise to take the account of eating and drinking items is against the dignity of the Kind Lord. In certain traditions bounties denote Ahle Bayt (a.s.). This bounty is greatest of all bounties, rather they are the medium of completion of bounty. Therefore it is obvious that there will be definite questioning in this regard also. As certain other Verses also point out this fact.

Benefit
Takaathur - Desire and pursuit of excess wealth and property or gloating over ones wealth and position. These two things that degrade a person to the lowest degree and the source of pride is either ignorance or inferiority complex. Ali (a.s.) has mentioned the exegesis of this Surah in a sermon which is sufficient to move the hearts of men.
