80. Abasa · He frowned
Makkan42 verses
ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقْبَرَهُۥ
ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقْضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
80:23No indeed! He has not yet carried out what He has commanded him.
فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
أَنَّا صَبَبْنَا ٱلْمَآءَ صَبًّۭا
ثُمَّ شَقَقْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ شَقًّۭا
80:26then We split the earth making fissures in it
فَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا حَبًّۭا
80:27and make the grain grow in it,
وَعِنَبًۭا وَقَضْبًۭا
وَزَيْتُونًۭا وَنَخْلًۭا
80:29olives and date palms,
وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلْبًۭا
وَفَٰكِهَةًۭ وَأَبًّۭا
مَّتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ
80:32as a sustenance for you and your livestock.
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ
80:34the day when a man will evade his brother,
وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
80:35his mother and his father,
وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
80:36his spouse and his sons—
لِكُلِّ ٱمْرِئٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ شَأْنٌۭ يُغْنِيهِ
80:37each of them will have a task to keep him preoccupied on that day.
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ مُّسْفِرَةٌۭ
ضَاحِكَةٌۭ مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌۭ
80:39laughing and joyous,
وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌۭ
80:40and some faces on that day will be covered with dust,
تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
80:41overcast with gloom.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَفَرَةُ ٱلْفَجَرَةُ
80:42It is they who are the faithless, the vicious.

Benefit
In the 24th ayat ‘Nazar’ and ‘Taam’ both are general terms. It is the duty of man to ponder upon what he is eating and what ideas he is acquiring. Just as in spiritual perfection and knowledges we must see what kind of knowledge it is and from where it is acquired so that we can get an idea of the bounty.

Benefit
Another meaning of Tazweeje Nafoos is that the whole shall be added to its similar parts and wherever one is one shall be united with those who are similar.
