45:9Should he learn anything about Our signs, he takes them in derision. For such there is a humiliating punishment.
45:10Ahead of them is hell, and neither what they have earned, nor what they had taken as guardians besides Allah will avail them in any way, and there is a great punishment for them.*
45:11This is [true] guidance, and there is a painful punishment due to defilement for those who defy the signs of their Lord.
45:12It is Allah who disposed the sea for you[r benefit] so that the ships may sail in it by His command, that you may seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks.

45:15Whoever acts righteously, it is for his own soul, and whoever does evil, it is to its own detriment, then you will be brought back to your Lord.
45:16Certainly We gave the Children of Israel the Book, judgement and prophethood and We provided them with all the good things. We gave them an advantage over all the nations,2*

Explanations of words and phrases in these verses
Benefit
In the 10th Ayat the Hell is said to be at the back by way of idiom. Or it indicates to the mailer that when they have turned their backs to the hereafter, Hell is behind them. Otherwise Hell is before them towards which they are heading.
- 1
The days that are related to Allah are due to some divine favour. Otherwise all days are for Allah.
- 2
Kitab denotes Taurat and Injeel. And command is rule and power of judgement. And the superiority over the worlds means that such people were raised from among them who had the book, rule and prophethood. Otherwise the Bani Israel are not deserving to be called humans due to their character and nature. How can they be superior to all the worlds? Or in clear words it could be said that this superiority is an additional quality just as the Sadat have an additional superiority of lineage. After that every man shall be judged by his personal deeds and character. And it is very much possible that if the right of the additional quality is not fulfilled it will become a problem and it will increase responsibility.
Benefit
In the 16th and 17th ayat six qualities of Bani Israel are mentioned and after that their faithlessness is mentioned which shows that denials of the religion of Allah is not the result of Knowledge. Rather it is the result of treason while the proof has been established.
Affaak - The person who lies too much. Aseem - Excessive sinner. Rijs - It is an uncleanness and also denotes deviation but here it means a severe kind of punishment and its mention with punishment is for emphasis.
