25:45Have you not regarded how your Lord spreads the twilight? (Had He wished He would have made it stand still.) Then We made the sun a beacon for it.
25:46Then We retract it toward Ourselves, with a gentle retracting.
25:47It is He who made for you the night as a covering and sleep for rest and He made the day a recall to life.
25:48And it is He who sends the winds as harbingers of His mercy, and We send down from the sky purifying water,1
25:49with which We revive a dead country and provide water to many of the cattle and humans We have created.2
25:50Certainly We distribute it among them so that they may take admonition. But most people are only intent on ingratitude.
25:51Had We wished, We would have sent a warner to every town.
25:52So do not obey the faithless, but wage a great jihad against them with it.
25:53It is He who merged the two seas: this one sweet and agreeable, and that one briny and bitter, and between the two He set a barrier and a forbidding hindrance.3
25:54It is He who created the human being from water, then invested him with ties of blood and marriage, and your Lord is all-powerful.4
25:55They worship besides Allah that which neither brings them any benefit nor causes them any harm, and the faithless one is ever an abettor against his Lord.
25:56We did not send you except as a bearer of good news and as a warner.
25:57Say, ‘I do not ask you any reward for it, except that anyone who wishes should take the way to his Lord.’5

Commentary on this passage
Verse 45
1.In the rewards and favours of Allah, the things that come into existence has also a big part in its states and condition. Existence of the sun is a great blessing and its shade is another blessing and its shade is to be enumerated as a third blessing and to the increasing and decreasing of its degree is the greatest blessing. The same is the condition of water and rain. Besides its existence, to reach in every place and make it wet and be in a state of progression is also a blessing of Allah. The wind has been made as good source of water, that its own existence is also a blessing and to gives a tiding of rainfall is another blessing.
Verse 52
2.This thing is not limited to the time of the Prophet of Islam (s.a.w.s.) but it is the responsibility of every Muslim to fight against infidelity and make the message of the Holy Quran customary in Islam. But woe, the Holy Quran instructs to fight against infidelity not unification and coincidence with infidelity.
Verse 54
3.In some traditions it is narrated that this is directed towards the relationship and genealogy of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) and Ali (a.s.).

The qualification is disjoint where in the beginning the compensation is denied and later the desire is expressed that people tread the path of Allah. This indicates that if compensation is monetary, the Propbet (s.a.w.s.) is definitely not interested in it. However, if it denotes the love of Able Bayt (a.s.) the Propbel (s.a.w.s.) is prepared to ask for it. Because on this depends the continuation of faith and religion.
Benefit
Some people consider the pronoun Hey in the 56th ayat to denote rain. Though the other ayats and the rules of speech dictate that it should mean the Holy Quran. Also if it means rain how can it be said to be reminder?
