2:24But if you do not—and you will not—then beware the Fire whose fuel will be humans and stones, prepared for the faithless.
2:25And give good news to those who have faith and do righteous deeds, that for them shall be gardens with streams running in them: whenever they are provided with their fruit for nourishment, they will say, ‘This is what we were provided before,’ and they were given something resembling it. There will be chaste mates for them, and they will remain therein [forever].12
2:26Indeed Allah is not ashamed to draw a parable whether it is that of a gnat or something above it. As for those who have faith, they know it is the truth from their Lord; and as for the faithless, they say, ‘What did Allah mean by this parable?’ Thereby He leads many astray, and thereby He guides many; and He leads no one astray thereby except the transgressors
2:27—those who break the covenant made with Allah after having pledged it solemnly, and sever what Allah has commanded to be joined, and cause corruption on the earth—it is they who are the losers.
2:28How can you be unfaithful to Allah, [seeing that] you were lifeless and He gave you life, then He will make you die and then bring you to life, and then you will be brought back to Him?3
2:29It is He who created for you all that is in the earth, then He turned to the heaven and fashioned it into seven heavens, and He has knowledge of all things.4

Commentary on this passage
Verse 24
1.The fire of hell is quite different from the fire of earth. The fire of hell is fuelled by humans and stones and culprits are getting punishment in it. As some true believers are bestowed by the gifts of heaven. Stone means stone idols. People who worshipping the idols and the idols will remain in one place in the hereafter. To demand one Surah is a proof that selecting one Surah was from Allah and it was already the time of revelation of Quran. And Quran is a miracle from the beginning to the end that it is not possible to get even one Surah like it. After that the criticism of deniers also shows that rejection of truth is not a denial alone, its end is also very severe.
Verse 25
2.The fruits of heaven may be like the fruits of land but actually they will be quite different. Just as the responsible persons and leaders of heaven are like ordinary people but are quite different from them.
Verse 26
3.This is an example of taking lesson that a man thinks himself as a superior but his organs and physical parts are less than a mosquito. The believers understand this fact but the sinners do not.
4.This points to the power of Allah and a warning to the infidels. That even after witnessing their own creation and that of the earth and the heavens they choose to disbelieve; which is a great surprise.
