17:7[saying,] ‘If you do good, you will do good to your [own] souls, and if you do evil, it will be [evil] for them.’ So when the occasion for the other [prophecy] comes, they will make your faces wretched, and enter the Temple just as they entered it the first time, and destroy utterly whatever they come upon.

Commentary on this passage
Verse 1
1.The Ayat mentions about the Holy Prophet’s (s.a.w.s.) ascension. He travelled twice. First he travelled from Mecca to Masjid-e-Aqsa and then from Masjid-e-Aqsa to the heavens. Some writers have interpreted the first journey as mystery and second one as ascension and some have interpreted both as ascension. This was actually a bodily ascension. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) himself stated: “I was carried upon a heavenly Buraq.” It is clear that all these things can happen physically and not spiritually. Ayesha has also stated that body of the Prophet (s.a.) was on the bed. This is a fabrication because they married after migration and ascension occurred before it on 27th Rajab or 17th Rabiul Awwal. Be it known that Masjid-e-Aqsa is at the honorable place which was populated by the tribe of Pyosion and its center was mount Sehyoon. In 2500 BC this place was populated by Saalim Yusi and Muslims built a mosque in this area. In the beginning of Be’ sat Muslims were in Mecca and then they settled in Medina and did their prayer towards it. The insult of Masjid-eAqsa is the joint issue of Muslims and Christians. But alas! In the year 1967 by the plan of America and Britain the Jews took possession of this place and this place was made up to hold dance and music and this area is included in Israel, chanting an elegy of Muslims and their shameless rulers.

The incident is neither clashing with the gravitational force of the earth, nor is it a space travel. Neither the heat of a sun is a barrier in this journey nor the rays of space. Even time did not affect this matter because it was caused by divine power which is supreme over everything.
