16. An-Nahl · The Bee
Makkan128 verses
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَتَىٰٓ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
16:1Allah’s edict is coming! So do not seek to hasten it. Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him].
يُنَزِّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ بِٱلرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِۦ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ أَنْ أَنذِرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱتَّقُونِ
16:2He sends down the angels with the spirit of His command to whomever He wishes of His servants: ‘Warn [the people] that there is no god except Me; so be wary of Me.’2
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ تَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
16:3He created the heavens and the earth with consummate wisdom. He is above having any partners that they ascribe [to Him].3
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍۢ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
16:4He created man from a drop of [seminal] fluid, and, behold, he is an open contender!4
وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ خَلَقَهَا ۗ لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌۭ وَمَنَٰفِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ
16:5He created the cattle, in which there is warmth for you and [other] uses, and some of them you eat.5
وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ
16:6There is in them a beauty for you when you bring them home for rest and when you drive them forth to pasture.

Even though the divine punishment has not yet descended, but it is mentioned in the past tense due to its certainty.

Ruh denotes divine revelation because it is having the position of a soul in the body of Universe.

How quickly man forgets his origin and is ready to argue with his Creator and Lord.

Daf - It is the things for keeping out heat. And other benefits includes, milk, ghee, tilling of land etc.

It means that the first stage is of prevention of loss and the second is to obtain benefit. Or it can be said that the importance of dress and home (tents) is more than that a society can be called beautiful only if it is self sufficient in food, clothing and housing.
