Verses 1–5

1.One of the miracles of the Holy Quran is that it gives the knowledge of hidden things, It talks about the future incidents in general. For example Christians of Rome and Persians fought against each other and Persians won the battle. The polytheists of Mecca started taunting that Christians, the People of Book have been defeated and thus the people of Quran (Muslims) will also be defeated against us and the Book of Allah is useless. Seeing the disappointment of Muslims, the Holy Quran declared that the sketch of victory will be changed within ten years and People of the Book will he victorious again and the same happened and people of Rome became victorious over Persians within nine years.

We learn two important things from this incident. (1) The mannerism of infidelity is always same and anyhow they are always ready mentally or practically for the religion of Allah. They oppose the Muslims in secret just as the mighty powers who are always prepared against Islamic Revolution. (2) Muslims should not be disappointed from Allah’s help, as Allah takes trial by affliction but later He makes us conquerors and successful by the source of patience.
